Former Fratellis frontman Jon Fratelli is to release a new single entitled ‘Baby, We’re Refugees!’ on 11th July – the same day as his debut solo album ‘Psycho Jukebox’. Fratelli recently announced plans to embark on a solo career with the release of his previous single ‘Santo Domingo’ in February. He will also be playing a couple of live dates in Preston and York next week – see below for dates and tickets. In addition to his own headlining shows, Fratelli will be performing at a number of festivals over the coming months, including T In The Park, Intro Festival in Middlesbrough, London’s Godiva Festival and Prestonpans Music Festival in Scotland.

Former Members of The Verve Return with New Band, EP & Live Date

Nick McCabe and Simon Jones, formerly of The Verve, have reunited to form a new band The Black Ships. The quartet, whose members also include Mig Schillace and Davide Rossi, have announced details of their first EP entitled ‘Kurofune’, which can be downloaded from The Black Ships’ website for free.
